As an undergraduate in the University of Ibadan, I knew her to be a very Social being, very high spirited. I once attended her departmental dinner, but i just knew her from afar. Fast forward to 2013 November 30th to be precised, I saw her wedding pictures on Facebook and here she was, married to an alumnus of my fellowship. There and then, from one of the comments on the picture I got to know about her blog. Gosh!!! That night, I read almost all the posts on the blog (now, I’m not exaggerating). She writes beautiful long posts. I read and read and I was like
“so, somebody can be a Christian and be this fabulous? “
. And then I DESIRED a friendship with her.
A month after that, I saw a post on her blog http://www.eziaha.com
GOD!!! That post was an answer to my silent prayers. She was about to start a mentoring group on whatsapp. It was right on time for me. Prior to that time, I’ve never had a mentor. I’m more introverted so I never knew much about the idea of accountability, mentorship and the likes. But when the post came up, I just knew I had to be a part of what God was set to do through His vessel.
The post that got it all started.
I sent her a mail and we got started. She officially became my mentor. It was a group of young ladies with incredible hearts for God. The group taught me a ton ON Spirituality, responsibility, I can’t even start to explain. I met Heaven sent friends on the group. Ladies that you could share anything with without feeling sorry.
Mama E, (even though she has tried rejecting the name, but it has come to stay. Lol) your life is an inspiration to many. You have influenced my life in soo many beautiful ways I can’t even start explaining. Your large heart of kindness is incredible. This is one human that is such a ‘go-getter’. She enters a matter and comes out with nothing short of excellent result. Her saved fit&fab is a proof
You are a reality of having a marriage that is HEAVEN on EARTH. She corrects with love and doesn’t give room for excuses. Thanks for always correcting us when we were slacking. I remember during my service year and stuffs started keeping me away from the online prayers and I told mama, she said “I can’t even deal with your excuses, I’ll just leave you unmentored” Omo, kiakia I arranged myself and rearranged my schedule oo who excuses don epp loool.
On this day of your 30th Birthday (30 is really the new 21), I wish you a very joyous celebration filled with abundance of all your heart desires. That particular thing that you are knocking on heaven’s gate for, comes with ease. AMEN!
